He wrote memoirs and dictated answers to questions at several times from the mid 1950s onwards, but never diaries. If the State of Eichmann did indeed give the original Eichamm MS to Lipstadt, she may lay herself open to a legal claim for their return by the rightful owners, the Nazi war criminal's sons and heirs.
